INR RANGE FOR ON-X-AORTIC VALVE
After the valve surgery, patients are advised to maintain an INR range of 2-3 for the first three months. After three months the INR range should be 1.5 – 2.
Patients are advised to monitor their PT/INR level regularly which is more convenient with PATIENT SELF TESTING at home using a PT/INR meter. It gives results in seconds and makes adjusting the doses of WARFARIN easier.
