Insurance companies cover the cost of PT/INR home testing through their different plans  based on certain eligibility criteria.

  One must be diagnosed with any of the following conditions:

  1. ATRIAL FIBRILLATION
  2. DEEP VEIN THROMBOSIS
  3. MECHANICAL HEART VALVE
  4. PULMONARY EMBOLISM
  5. HYPERCOAGULABLE STATE
